I was approached to design an exploratory concept design for a VST plugin infusing a dystopian Japanese aesthetic into the brand and interface. The design aims to evoke an atmospheric broodiness, seamlessly integrating elements that convey a blend of futuristic yet gritty visuals. It taps into the essence of dystopia with a nuanced approach, capturing the user's attention through a visual narrative that aligns with the plugin's distinct identity. The exploration encompasses colour palettes, typography, and graphical elements that resonate with the plugin's core theme, promising an immersive experience for musicians and producers seeking a cutting-edge, intense, deep sound design.
